Fota House is delighted to welcome visitors to its new wallpaper exhibition Patterns of History which is being hosted with the support of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports & Media, – Regional Museum Exhibition Scheme. The exhibition, curated by renowned wallpaper expert David Skinner, gives historic context to the evolution of wallpaper from the late 18th century and includes many examples of various textures and creative methods.
The exhibition is open to the public by appointment only Monday – Friday from Monday, 27th September until November 30th. Viewing times are 11am to 1pm. Admission is free until November 30th.
