Celebrate the dawn of ‘The Roaring 20s’ and the 200th anniversary of Fota House with the Cork Light Orchestra on Friday 28th February.
Fota House is delighted to welcome back the Cork Light Orchestra who once again will play their fun, lively, and entertaining repertoire playing all the tunes you love! Enjoy the orchestra as you swing, waltz and croon with music spanning the 20th century from Jazz and trad to rock and roll.
The Orchestra was formed by a group of enthusiastic amateur and semi-professional musicians who had varying experience of other musical settings. Their Musical Director is well known cellist Ilse de Ziah. She is in her fifth year conducting the group and has arranged a number of pieces which highlight the Orchestra’s unique instrumentation.
Tickets €20 including complimentary glass of wine at interval. Doors 7:00PM, Concert 7:30PM.
