Join us for a breath of fresh air this Easter at Fota House and Gardens, one of Cork’s most idyllic locations, on Friday 30th March and Sat 31st March. Follow our nature-themed spring trail to discover the special Gardens and Arboretum at our 12th Annual Spring Easter Trail. The Spring Easter trail is self-led and involves finding woodland treasures to finish with claiming your very own chocolate egg sponsored by Cadbury’s.
A fun day out for the whole family and is suitable for all ages! “Once your little ones have devoured their egg you are welcome to make a day of it and enjoy the stunning gardens with a picnic or enjoy some delicious food at the new Bakestone Café at Fota House. There will also be artisan food tents at the end of the trail and lots of entertainment with vintage swing boats a carousel from the 1950s and a 1970s ice-cream van,” says Victoria Tammadge, Fota House and Gardens General Manager.
Tickets are €8 per child and adults go free. By taking part in the Easter nature trail, visitors are contributing to the ongoing restoration and conservation of Fota House, Arboretum & Gardens which is owned and managed by the Irish Heritage Trust charity.
