ISNA Plant Fair comes to Fota House – are you a plant hunter?!

ISNA Plant Fair comes to Fota House – are you a plant hunter?!

We are delighted to be hosting the Irish Specialist Nursery Association at their annual Plant Fair event with us on Sunday 16th September.

Discover an exciting selection of rare and unusual varieties available for purchase and meet the talented growers, who are always happy to share their expert knowledge with gardening enthusiasts and beginners alike.

The ISNA was established to represent the smaller, specialised nurseries in Ireland. These nurseries offer a wide variety of plants, services and advice. Most of the stock that they produce is propagated by themselves or sourced from other artisan producers. They offer a large selection of plants ranging from the more common species to the rare and obscure cultivars not normally found in the bigger retail outlets in Ireland.

The Fair opens from 11am to 4pm, so bring your family and your green fingers along and get involved with the pleasures of growing!
Bakestone Café @ Fota House will be open, serving their usual fare of delicious cakes and fantastic savoury treats along with Bakestone’s vintage coffee caravan, which will be down at the fair, serving up yummies throughout the day. Don’t forget, the gardens are an ideal location for a family picnic too and our Victorian Working Garden is open to enjoy from 1pm to 4pm.

Admission only €5.00 including car parking, tickets purchased at the event on the day.
There’s always something to do at Fota!
